Laura navigates the space between humans and artificial intelligence through the lens of an intersectional feminist. Through her artistic practice, Local Machine, she pursues Data Justice as a means for co-liberation.
Laura’s work is a partnership between machines and humans working in right relationship with each other. By liberating algorithms from the weight of unjust histories and unjust data, she uses art as a mode to construct a fair space with technology.
She has exhibited work in New York City, the Bay Area, and globally through online and virtual galleries.
